Click Deactivate next to the computer you want to deactivate the installation from.

If you’ve already installed the latest version of Office with Office 365 on five computers that you use and you want to install Office on a sixth computer, you can do that by first deactivating an installation on one of your current computers.

On the Office page, select the required Language, and then click Install.

Note: Your Aston email address may already be populated.

You will be redirected to another login page which shows the Aston University logo.

Visit and enter your Aston email address when prompted.

The OneDrive for Business sync app that is downloaded from the Office 365 webpage is not compatible with the installed versions of Microsoft Office on University computers.

Please do not add files to this folder that you do not want to be visible to all other staff and students.

Adding files to the “Shared with Everyone” folder will make that file accessible by everyone at Aston.

Your OneDrive will be deleted when your Aston account is removed after leaving the university. We cannot locate or retrieve lost, deleted or corrupted files from OneDrive for Business.

Data stored on OneDrive for Business is not stored at Aston University or backed up, and should not be used for Important or Confidential file storage.

OneDrive for Business will soon be added to Office 365 - 1 TB cloud located personal storage. When you use the latest version of Office with Office 365, you can edit and review Office files from virtually anywhere you can use your computer, mobile device, or web browser.

Usually these checks happen automatically, and you never know.
